2 Wire ALC

Optimizing technologies result in more efficient, relevant and flexible output. MEDI’s latest invention , 2- wire ALC has done the impossible by optimizing the ALC design into just 2 wires. This is a revolutionary concept and is surely beyond the imagination of current technology in use. This has a far superior performance with significant achievement in ALC technology.

2-Wire ALC provide light while the HID lamp is in cool-down or warm-up mode, either after a momentary power interruption or after initial start up. MEDI’s latest revolutionary invention, 2- wire ALC , makes the conventional methodology of 4- wire design obsolete. New design has optimized the performance of the whole system. This has a built-in timer which keeps the auxiliary lamp ON until the HID lamp reaches full brightness. This provides more flexibility and capability enabling maximum auxiliary light in the most demanding environments. With the usage of a special property of the material of the core, the numbers of wires are reduced to 2, resulting in less confusion in wiring. Since current sensing is done without any contact with HID, there is no upper limit to HID lamp wattage. This design does not require working voltage making it more reliable. This newly-engineered system represent the next generation of ALC series.

Above attributes enhances the reliability of the entire system. The features spelled out are outstanding. To add to the value addition, this is cost effective and has a significant reduction in size also.

Our exclusive design uses the special property of core which makes it possible for just in 2 wires by sensing the current by hooking up it through ALC. Thus achieved reduction in size of ALC. Also eliminated the additional connection for working voltage and the HID lamp current sensing wire. There is no confusion in wiring as the number of wires have reduced to 2. Irrespective of the polarity, it can be connected anywhere in series with a lamp, say first wire from 120V, second wire to the auxiliary lamp and vice versa. Same way first wire from the neutral second wire from the auxiliary lamp and vice versa. Since current sensing is done without any contact with HID, there is no upper limit to HID lamp wattage. This design is more reliable as this does not require working voltage.
